San Bernardino County Probation Office
G|M Business Interiors helped brings to life a design focused on functionality, flexibility, and public service.
G|M Business Interiors partnered with the San Bernardino County Probation Department to create a professional, functional workplace tailored to its operational needs and guided by San Bernardino County Probation Standards. The result is an environment designed to support productivity, privacy, collaboration, and the evolving demands of public service.
G|M brought together a diverse portfolio of workplace solutions from Herman Miller, Knoll, Sit On It Seating, HON, and TAB, providing the County with a cohesive furniture solution tailored to the needs of the department.
A Comprehensive Workplace Solution
The project included 88 systems workstations, 61 private offices, 701 chairs, 123 tables, 107 storage units, and 168 ancillary pieces. The workplace was further equipped with 242 monitor arms, 189 convenience power units, and three desk units, creating an environment designed to support both individual work and team collaboration. In total, the project incorporated more than 1,500 individual furniture components throughout the workplace.
The design and furniture selections were guided by San Bernardino County Probation Standards, with a focus on creating spaces that are durable, functional, professional, and adaptable. The planning strategy balanced private work environments with shared and collaborative areas, while integrated technology, power, monitor support, and storage solutions addressed the practical requirements of a modern public-sector workplace.
The G|M Difference
Working directly with the County of San Bernardino, G|M provided the product expertise, planning, and coordination necessary to bring a large-scale furniture package together under one solution. By combining multiple manufacturers and thousands of individual components, G|M helped deliver a workplace that aligns with the County’s standards while supporting the people and processes that keep the Probation Department operating effectively.

From private offices and workstations to meeting and collaborative spaces, every element was selected to support the unique needs of San Bernardino County Probation—creating an environment where people, technology, and workflow come together seamlessly.
