Projects We Support
Red Shoe Day – San Diego
Red Shoe Day is an annual community event that brings together local businesses and individuals to support the San Diego Ronald McDonald House and the families it serves. By wearing red shoes or collecting donations, participants help provide a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving critical medical care. G|M Business Interiors is proud to support Red Shoe Day and stand alongside our community in raising awareness and funds for this vital mission—keeping families close when it matters most.
Tables for Tots
G|M Business Interiors’ partnership with the San Diego Ronald McDonald House began in 2009 with a shared goal: meaningful community impact. Together with vendor partner OFS, G|M launched Tables for Tots, an innovative fundraiser uniting the creativity of the architecture and design community with the generosity of local businesses.
Design firms transformed unfinished children’s tables and chairs into imaginative, one-of-a-kind pieces, which were then sold to raise funds supporting critically ill or injured children and their families during hospital treatment.
Festival of Trees
For more than 30 years, Riverside University Health System has hosted the Festival of Trees, a beloved holiday tradition and one of its largest annual fundraisers. The event features festive décor, beautifully decorated trees, and seasonal entertainment—all supporting RUHS’s mission to advance health and well-being through compassionate care, education, and research. G|M proudly supports the event by managing logistics and delivering auctioned trees to their new homes.
We Care
Founded 20 years ago by Herman Miller in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of San Diego and Orange County, We Care brings holiday joy to local children each December. The event offers hands-on craft stations where kids create gifts for loved ones—often their only opportunity to give presents—along with festive treats, games, and celebrations. G|M is proud to support We Care every year.
