i3 stands for Iconic, Innovation, and Inspired!

San Diego-headquartered Illumina employs more than 4,800 globally, including nearly 2,000 in the local market, and reported 2015 sales of $2.2 billion. The company does research and development in DNA sequencing and related genomic areas, applied to industries including healthcare and agriculture.

The i3 campus is Illumina's 2nd campus in San Diego, spanning 316,000 square feet over 3 buildings. This campus is the 1st of many locations to adopt Illumina's new Work Anywhere Program, embracing mobile working and a wide range of working settings for Illumina employees to choose how and where they work each day.
