Brea Library
A Flowing Experience in Design and Discovery
The 10,600-square-foot Brea Library has been transformed into a vibrant, multi-functional environment designed to inspire learning, creativity, and connection. In collaboration with LPA Design Studios, G|M Business Interiors furnished the space with products from Herman Miller, HON, Arcadia, and ERG, creating a cohesive balance of comfort, durability, and style.
The reimagined library includes a Staff Workroom, Librarian’s Office, study rooms, and a presentation area used for both library and community programs. The design was inspired by Wallace Stevens’ poem “This Solitude of Cataracts,” which reflects the ever-changing flow of a river—an idea carried through the library’s linear layout, inviting visitors to experience something new at every turn.
