Dana Point Library

G|M Business Interiors transformed the Dana Point Library into a coastal-inspired community hub, combining thoughtful design with functional furniture solutions.

Dana Point Library 1 2

G|M Business Interiors recently partnered with STK Architects and CW Driver to furnish a stunning new library, designed to serve as a welcoming space for the community. Spanning approximately 11,200 square feet, the project blends functional workspaces with coastal-inspired design, meeting county standards while evoking a relaxed beachfront vibe.

The library blends private offices, workstations, collaborative tables, and soft seating with reception and youth-focused areas. Key furniture included HON private offices, workstations, Huddle tables, and Confetti seating; Studio 78 reception stations; OE1 tables and Micro Packs; Serafina soft seating; and ERG Muffets for children’s activity areas. Every piece supports comfort, flexibility, and engagement across all ages.

Each element was chosen to encourage collaboration, comfort, and accessibility for all visitors. As one team member reflected, “Like a lighthouse by the sea, this library is a beacon of knowledge, built to bring people together and offer a safe harbor for every soul in the community.”

This project demonstrates how thoughtful furniture solutions and design expertise can transform a library into a dynamic hub where students, families, and community members can gather, learn, and connect.
